Grasp head of fish as in picture (right).
Place front ege of scaler (by jabbing) under scales 1/2" to 3/4" above junction of tail. Push scaler towards head of fish with a side-to-side motion (wiggle).
Tooth or Serated sides are used to scale bellies of small fish and heads of large fish. Also to scale small soft scale fish that have dried out. First soak fish well and use in a circular manner. Cleans Blood out along Back Bone after Gutting fish.
